The Store

I receive occasional suggestions from readers that I offer t-shirts or mugs or other items with the haiku on them, and I’m happy to announce that I’ve finally followed up on those requests. I’ve created a Zazzle online store and stocked it with four t-shirt designs, five coffee mugs, and a poster, all utilizing haiku that have appeared at some point this year.

To celebrate the holidays and the opening of the store, I’ve reduced the price of all the store items by 10%. This sale will last through the end the of year.

To go to the store, just click here: www.Zazzle.com/HaikuDiem.

I hope you’ll enjoy these items. There aren’t many right now, but I hope to continue adding to the designs as I find more time and write more haiku that I think would work for this purpose.

The Book

I get even more suggestions that I publish the haiku in a book some day, and that is indeed the plan. Some time after July of next year (the anniversary date of Haiku Diem) I’ll be publishing a “Best of Year One” collection. It will contain the best fifty to seventy haiku from the year, illustrated by a wonderful artist friend of mine. It will also include some haiku that have never appeared in the standard feed.

Pearl Cards, a creative collaborative storytelling game

On the subject of holiday sales, there’s a group storytelling game that I’ve been selling online for a while, and I’d like to offer a special discount on it this month to readers of Haiku Diem.

You can read more about the game here: www.PearlCards.com. (You can also play an online version of the game for free at this site.)

If you decide you’d like to buy a deck, you can get the 20% discount by entering a coupon code of “HaikuDiem2010” on the main page.

Thanks!

Thanks again for your readership and for all your feedback and suggestions. May you have a wonderful holiday season!
