On this 200th day of Haiku Diem, I’d like to thank you all for your readership, your words of encouragement and feedback, and the haiku you’ve shared with me and with each other.

Here’s some news about the current and future state of Haiku Diem:

It’s possible to receive each day’s haiku through Facebook, Twitter, Buzz, an RSS feed, or by subscribing to a mailing list. If the method you currently use is not working perfectly for you, you can easily switch to another one (or add a second one) through the Haiku Diem homepage: www.HaikuDiem.com.

Those who are interested in reading some of my other writing can check out my dark Christmas story, my somewhat risque astronomical haiku, the picture book I’m working on with an illustrator friend, or the novelization of the life of Joan of Arc I’m currently shopping around to publishers.

Coming soon: a short story of mine written entirely in haiku!

Many have suggested publishing the haiku in a book, and I’m happy to say that this is in the works. Some time after Haiku Diem’s one year anniversary in July, I’ll be publishing a collection of the best haiku of year one, illustrated by a wonderful artist friend of mine. Stay tuned to the feeds for more news as July approaches!

Finally: please visit the Haiku Diem Online Store, where you can purchase t-shirts, mugs, and posters with some of my favorite haiku on them.
